China's Suspension Giant Is 3,500 Feet Longer Than the Brooklyn Bridge
The Yangtze River is the third longest in the world, and it's served as a critical artery in the beating heart of China's economic boom. It's also incredibly wide at points which has forced China to become a top contender in the race to build the most advanced long-span bridges in the world. Taizhou Bridge is definitely one of those bridges.
The Taizhou won the 2013 Structural Awards this week, beating out dozens of other remarkable pieces of engineering. It's not the country's longest suspension bridge that would be Xihoumen Bridge but it is the longest of its unique, experimental type. It's the first-ever suspension bridge to link two long spans, each over a kilometer in length, using three 650-foot-tall towers. All in all this $400 million behemoth crosses over 9,650 feet of the massive (and deep, at 90 feet) Yangtze River.

The Philippines had a rough day Saturday and they might never forget this disaster. almost 10 thousand people died. 70% of the country got wiped out and almost everybody got wiped out and they will all be homeless now. The us army is going back and forth to support food and water. The storm was a mix between a tsunami and hurricane. I would attempt to help donating food ans water the support the children.

invisibilty
If i was invisible for a day i would help all crimes. if i had a invisibly coat i would stop a crime from happening. The crime would be a jumping. i would make sure there was no trace off me. they would not find my house, name. I would make sure i would i would drop them off at the police station. Then i would banish and never return.
i will make sure that no crime will happen for the day. all day i would make sure all bad guys go to jail and never come back. also i would make sure that they learn to never sin again. Then never ever be seen again.

Like the Flex, the Force is a silicone wristband. The band is just slightly wider, and it's a little bit thicker. It still fits comfortably under the cuff on a long-sleeved shirt, though, and doesn't make it look like you have a horrible arm-fracture. The first difference you'll notice from the Flex is that the Force has a rather lovely and blue OLED screen.

My class would be wood shop. you can learn how to shape other kinds of woods and make baseball bats that you want to play with after school or with your team. My class would be last period. when you are shaping wood and all that. This class is going to be making houses or foundations before you put a house up.
Also, this class would meet outside on concrete so we do not make a mess in school. It would look like a huge place to work in too.

Designed by Japanese architect Arata Isozaki, who teamed with British-Indian sculptor Anish Kapoor, the Ark Nova is touted as the world's first inflatable concert hall. Kapoor is no stranger to inflatable structures, having created the Leviathan in Paris back in 2011. But that structure was designed to stay put inside the city's Grand Palais, whereas the Ark Nova is designed to travel around Japan for the Lucerne Music Festival, visiting parts of the country still recovering from the tsunami.

My Favorite Teacher
My teacher is Ms.Hunter, she teaches English 1. Reading really is not my favorite but she makes class fun to be in. We usually draw pictures of what we are learning. For example, we learned what tone means she made us draw a picture. She does not yell too, she says nicely. please be nicely. She also attempts to help you before a test Her tests are always have a word bank.

I hope that i learn many more things than last year . I also hope to become a better writer than i was last year. The last classes i have been in i really did not learn anything. That is why i hope to learn more than i already know from the past few years.

Englsih
in Trinidad, and Vladimir Nabokov was Russian, but all are considered important writers in the history of English literature. In other words, English literature is as diverse as the varieties and dialects of English spoken around the world in countries originally colonized by the British.
Until the early 19th century, this article deals with literature from Britain written in English; then America starts to produce major writers and works in literature. In the 20th century America and Ireland produced many of the most significant works of literature in English, and after World War II writers from the former British Empire also began to challenge writers from Britain. Additional information on literature in English from countries other than the UK and Ireland can be found in see also below.
